God is holy- there's no doubt about that. When we approach His throne, we should definitely be filled with awe and reverence. However, one thing we should not be is afraid.Many people see God as handing out punishments for those who misbehave. While it's true that He disciplines His children, He's not out to get us or to hurt us. He loves us deeply. After all, he sent His only Son to die for us, right? If He was truly out to hurt us, would He have done that? Not likely.
We can rest in the knowledge that he loves us completely and will always be there for us. He's not out to get us or hurt us.
