Valentine's Gifts from Savannah Bee Company & Giveaway!

I received a gift box from Savannah Bee Company in exchange for my review. All opinions are 100% my own.

I don't know about you- but I LOVE honey and as long as I am consuming local honey on a daily basis, I can keep my allergies pretty much under control (but that's a post for another day). Today, I want to tell you about the Honey Caramel Gift Box from Savannah Bee Company as well as some of the other amazing gift boxes they have available for your Valentine's Day Sweetheart

Once I got it out of the shipping box, I see it's this really cute cardboard gift box. There's a different fact on each side. I'm not sure if the facts are the same on all the boxes or if they're different- but they're interesting to me. Did you know:

Honeybees have been on the earth for over 150 million years.

One ounce of honey would fuel a honeybee's flight around the world.

Honey was once known as the soul of flowers.

All worker bees are female.

The bottom of the box tells the story of the Savannah Bee Company. The founder, Ted Dennard, had a lifelong passion for bees and founded the Savannah Bee Company in 2002. Now, Savannah Bee Company products are sold in thousands of stores around the country, internationally, and there are four Savannah Bee retail stores in Savannah and Charleston.

Now, without further ado, let's open the box!

As you can see, there are four items in the box. This is the Honey Caramel Delight Gift Box (Value: $46.00) and is sure to delight anyone with a sweet tooth! This gift box contains:

1 (12 oz) jar of Raw Tupelo Honey
1 (12 oz) jar of Winter White Honey
1 (3.5 oz) jar of Adam Uroni Honey Caramel Sauce
1 (3 pack) Adam Turoni Sourwood Honey Sea Salt Caramels

As I mentioned, I absolutely LOVE honey- especially the Tupelo Honey. To me, this is some of the best tasting honey around. It is considered one of the rarest and most valuable honey in the world since it is only harvest for a few days each April. Plus, this is RAW Tupelo Honey, so it has lots of nutritional benefits! Though I haven't done it lately, I love drinking hot tea- and honey is one of the best ways to sweeten a nice cup of hot tea. Of course, it's also nice to eat a spoonful when I'm craving something sweet, but I'm not quite sure what. I like the buttery taste and smooth finish.

The Winter White Honey is one that I have heard of, but I have not had the opportunity to try- so I was pretty excited when this opportunity came up! One thing I did not expect was that this honey is a solid- not that I minded it at all, it was just a bit of a surprise. The Winter White Honey comes from the frosty Rocky Mountain Wildflower fields. It has a very nice, smooth flavor- and I think it would be great in a cup of hot tea as well.

Next, comes the Adam Turoni Honey Caramel Sauce. I think this would be absolutely perfect on a bowl of ice cream. Now, that's a pretty big deal for me to say because I'm a die-hard hot fudge fan. I don't typically eat caramel sauce because most of the time it's just too sweet for me. This Adam Turoni Honey Caramel Sauce has a very nice, not too sweet, flavor.

Finally, my favorite part of the whole box! The Adam Turoni Sourwood Honey Sea Salt Caramels. These are a 72% dark chocolate, and are filled with caramel and sourwood honey sprinkled with Cypress Sea Salt flakes. This is the perfect blend of salty/sweet! The gift box came with a 3-pack, and of course, I had to try one immediately!
