12 Days of Christmas Blogger Giveaways: Day 1

Good morning everyone!! Well, Thanksgiving is over and we're "officially" moving into the Christmas season. Yes, I'm one of "those" people that prefers we give each holiday it's own spotlight. Many of you began your shopping on Black Friday (or even late Thursday night)- not me! That's just too much crowding for me....I'll wait, thank you. I have teamed up with 9 other wonderful Christian ladies to do a 12 Days of Giveaways promotion. We are sharing each other's blog and social media links and giving away a prize.

Each day, there will be a new blog posting from a different blog. I am giving away a set of my Scripture Study books. They are meant to be inspirational, though I have had people purchase them and use them in their bible studies at church. Each one is a collection of verses that relates to the topic. The first one, "And These Three Remain" was put together in about a week. I was having lots of trouble falling asleep one night, and EVERY SINGLE song on the radio was about God's Love. I felt God speaking to me, "Get up and write." Of course, if you know me- you know that I can be a bit hardheaded....I wanted to sleep- not get up and write at midnight, so- I argued. Well, God again said "Get up and write." My response was, "I don't know what to write." He spoke again, "I'll tell you what to write." And He did.... Thus, "And These Three Remain" (A Scripture Collection Relating to 1 Corinthians 13:13) was born.

Shortly after, I was led to put together another collection, "Fruits of the Spirit." (A Scripture Collection Relating to Galatians 5:22-23).

Then, if you've read my story, you know that I am a convert. I grew up Southern Baptist and in 2013, I converted to the Catholic Faith and became fascinated by the Seven Deadly Sins and Seven Heavenly Virtues. So, I prayed about it and wrote a Scripture collection on each of these topics as companion books.

On December 8, I will have a drawing for a 4 pack of my books. These make excellent study guides or gifts! Please enter below- and share with your friends and family!

Books by Me....

Some of you out there are already aware that I've written a few Scripture study-type books. Others of you may not. Here is a list of the four books I've written:

#3 & #4 were written as companion books- Scriptural Study on the Seven Deadly Sins and the Seven Heavenly Virtues.

Now, I am not a Bible Scholar and I definitely don't know all there is to know about the Scriptures. However, I do know that God called me to write these.
