In order to express our faith in Christ, we must have action behind it. What we look like doesn't matter. We can look the part all we want- but if we don't SHOW the love of Christ to others, it's pretty much useless.
When I was in high school, we had a skit in our youth group called "Dumb as a Stick." In it, the "mature" one kept getting on to the younger one about looking and acting like a chicken, and a racecar driver- "looking and acting like that doesn't make you one and if you believe it does, you're dumb as a stick." At the end, the two are in church. The "mature" one is looking and acting the part of the Christian- but that is all. There is nothing behind the facade.
Now, I'm not implying that if you look and act like a Christian but do nothing to express your faith in the "real" world that you're dumb as a stick- but you're definitely not shining your light for Christ. Consider putting some action behind your faith so that others can see Jesus in you.
